The Cascade du Pont Romain is a combination of a beautiful stone bridge over the Le Bonnant river and the waterfalls that run on the side of it. These waterfalls are pretty spectacular as the stone has been cut out deep by the water leaving the water to run through deep ravines. Its hard to capture in pictures or in words but both the bridge and the river and its waterfalls are extremely pretty and worth a visit.
The Pont Romain is a bridge that is part of the "Voie Romaine" or Roman road that goes all the way to the Col du Bonhomme where the old border between Savoy and Italy used to be. You pass the bridge also as part of the very popular Tour du Mont Blanc.
