The Chalet des Pyramides is a Buvette, or snack bar, located at an altitude of 1895 meter overlooking the Glacier des Bossons. The view is quite spectacular and it is the perfect rest stop before continuing your trail up to La Jonction.
The history of the chalet dates back all the way to 1904 and it has often been part of the route up to Mont Blanc in the early days of mountaineering. In 2021, the terrace was renovated and expanded. The chalet serves simple meals including omelets. Bread is brought up by foot nearly every day in summer so please appreciate it when you have some!
