This small oratory is located along the Rue du Lyret on the southern side of Chamonix about 120 meters away from the Aiguille du Midi cable car station. An oratory is a small place of worship typically placed along roads and intersections. This one seems to have been nicely renovated with a nicely set red painted access cover and an inner chamber featuring Mother Marry and Son. The setting of the oratory is a bit disappointing along a big road and surrounded by development.
We cannot recommend you go out of your way just to visit this oratory but if you find yourself nearby then go and have a look.
