The Glacier de Bionnassay is a medium sized glacier at the south-western side of the Mont Blanc Massif. It has a length of approximately 5km. It flows down from the Dome du Gouter all the way down to the hamlet of Bionnassay. The Glacier is one of the easier ones to visit thanks to the Tramway du Mont Blanc which ends at the Nid d'Aigle from where a short trail takes you to a view point very near to the Glacier.

We got a fantastic trail from the Bellevue lift station to Les Contamines via Col de Tricot. This trail offers some good views of the Glacier de Bionnassay from a lower altitude and greater distance.
