The Lac Vivier is small fishing lake located along the trail that runs through the Montjoie Valley between Saint-Gervais and Les Contamines. Across from the lake, on the other side of the river Bonnant you will find the hamlet of Bionnay.
The lake is a fishing lake and there is a small pond next to it that contains the trout spawning grounds. This smaller pond is fenced off and should not be accessed. To fish in the lake, you will need a fishing permit which you can purchase the tourist office.
There is a stone grilling pit and few picnic tables nearby. All in all a nice location if you want to take the family out fishing or have a little picnic.
