Vaudagne is a charming little hamlet located on the western end of the Chamonix Valley. It is part of the town of Les Houches. Vaudagne is situated on a pretty steep slope with a main road running from the bottom to the top. It is a very popular road biking route for people crossing over from Servoz and making their way to Les Houches and further down the valley in the direction of Chamonix. 

Some of the highlights of Vaudagne include the Chapelle de Vaudagne. A charming little chapel located in the heart of Vaudagne. There is also an old school building which still has the signage on it. There is water fountain located right in front of the school building. The main road circles up through the town with a trail cutting across the switchbacks. Vaudagne has its own train stop but a stop there must be requested while riding the train as it is not part of the usual fixed stops.

We got a nice family friendly trail that goes through Vaudagne and starts at Lac des Chavants. We also have a nice discovery tour starting at Servoz and looping around Vaudagne. Both trails are highly recommended.
